No refunds are provided for unused meal plans so residents are encouraged to use the full value of the meal plan. Unused swipes will expire each semester and do not transfer over. Unused flex cash will transfer over from fall to spring semester, and will expire on the last day of spring semester. Blue Chip is the CCSU campus currency and is accepted like cash or credit at all on-campus dining locations as well as elsewhere on and off campus. Flex Dollars come on every Resident dining plan and can be used for purchases at any of our on-campus dining locations where meal swipes are not accepted. Students can increase their meal plan at any time, but there is a deadline to decrease the plan (if it is higher than the minimum required plan).
